Short History

The numbers are confusing the heck out of me and I'm sure you too. This will be the last iteration of WaffleRO. It's do or die, so the name has been changed to WaffleROΩ. - Root Administrator.

Omega (Ω) is the 24th and last letter of the Greek alphabet. It is often used to denote the last, the end, or the ultimate limit of a set, in contrast to Alpha, the first letter of the Greek alphabet. (Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omega)

  • Aug. 01 to Dec. 01 - WaffleRO1.0 (WaffleRO Original) [pop.150], Known for 3 Rebirth System / Angel / Devil / God
  • Dec. 01 to May. 04 - WaffleRO2.0 (WaffleRO2 Gold) [pop.650], Known for Infinite Rebirth System / Waffle Eaters=X
  • May. 05 to May. 06 - WaffleRO3.0 (WaffleRO3) [pop.150], Known for the crappy transition to eAthena x.x
  • May. 07 to Dec. 07 - WaffleRO4.0 (Hoshi-Ragnarok) [pop.100], Known for Territorial War
  • Dec. 07 to May. 08 - WaffleRO5.0 (WaffleRO5) [pop.150], Known for US vs Pinoy Wars x.x / Epic Failure
  • Apr. 09 to Present - WaffleRO6.0 (WaffleROΩ), Known for the finale.

Has it really been 8 years? Insanity. At least we have a pedigree. Where we go from here, one can only guess.

The Server

  • Max Level: 999
  • Max Stat: 999 (9999 Stats Unlockable)
  • Max Aspd: 194 (199 Aspd Unlockable)
  • Instacast: 250
  • EXP Rate: 100000 (Adding another 0 causes porings to give as much as baphomets)
  • Drop Rate: 10000 (Varying per type of drop, but majority are this)
  • 5% MVP card drop
  • 10% Card drop
  • Custom Headgears
  • Karma System
  • Reborn System (Maximum Rebirth: INFINITY!!!)
  • Full PVP zones (It means Towns were open to PVP. You can PK anyone without using the @duel commands)
  • Automated Events
    • What's unique about us? "Faction Wars." It's a fight between the good and evil!

Getting started

Getting started playing WRO is a very easy process.

Installing and Logging in

  1. Download the SAK_SETUP1210 Client from the Downloads Page.
  2. Download and install the WaffleRO Patch from here.
  3. Make an account on the forums.
  4. Login in-game using your forum account name and password.

Note: If you experience any crashing, please be sure to run "sakray.exe" to patch ragnarok and "wafflero patcher.exe" to patch wafflero

Basic Play Concepts

WaffleRO revolves around two main systems that are (semi-)WRO-exclusive. Those two systems being the Reborn System and the Faction War system. Reborn, in a nutshell, is absolutely free for the first time, but the 2nd and the next future Reborns are attained via gathering 10 Waffle Vouchers and speaking to the NPC in Heaven, which you can access once you're level 999 reborn through the Warpra. The Faction War system divides the entire world into conquerable maps, which you conquer for the betterment of your race; the two races being Aesir and Vanir.
